Drinking water
The TriOS sensors for drinking water monitoring, in particular the new TW Master Series, have been specially developed for monitoring drinking water quality for precise and continuous measurements. The TW Master Series provides comprehensive monitoring of key parameters such as turbidity, pH, organic compounds and nutrient concentrations to ensure the purity and safety of drinking water. The measuring ranges are designed to meet the special requirements for drinking water quality.
In addition to the TW Master Series, TriOS offers a wide range of stand-alone sensors that can be used in drinking water monitoring. Common water quality measurements include dissolved oxygen, pH, redox potential, conductivity and turbidity. TriOS sensors are highly accurate and measure in real time, enabling a rapid response to potential hazards. This is particularly important in drinking water systems, where the monitoring of pollutants and organic residues is a top priority. For example, excessive nitrate levels can lead to health problems.
In addition to the TW Master Series, OPUS in particular, a spectral probe for online measurement of nitrogen and carbon compounds, is able to provide reliable measurement values for N-NO3, N-NO2, organic constituents (CODeq, BODeq, DOCeq, TOCeq) and a range of other parameters by analysing a complete absorption spectrum.
